I've been out of the scene for long! Things have been both great and crazy. Everything happened so fast. I've got my hands full of everything! ...and kept me wondering how did I handle all these things like some breeze of sweet air?! Now, one of the big news and blessings I got is this: i'm very happy to inform all of you that I officially got THE slot of being Christian Dior's Associate/Resident Make-Up Artist!!! (bow bow bow! blush blush blush!, by the way, the chief make-up artist has moved to another brand and Ana, the brand manager told me, she wants me to replace her, so does that mean, I am the chief MUA heee! heee! ) Yes, I did an audition make-up trial and stuff...It wasn't that easy, rather it was sweat, blood and definitely buckets and buckets of tears!!!
One of the reasons why I gave this a try, apart from the training and exposure, was because of the GORGEOUS CD belt bag for my brushes, they're GORGEOUS!, which, however, is not yet in my possession. Ana told me I'll get it next week OR on the Fila Fashion Show on Sunday @ the Manila Polo Club(oh yes! i'm part of it, thanks to DIOR again!)
Anyhow, here are some of the photos I took using my cellphone cam during the many counter makeover/workshops! It didn't give justice to my beautiful friends turned makeover divas! I was too shy to take photos of the other avid DIOR clients, whom faces I made.
shameless plugging: NOT ONLY THAT I'M PART OF THIS BEAUTIFUL BRAND, but through the course of using DIOR products I discovered and I want to share to everyone that Dior Cosmetics are very powerful make-up. They're sooo easy to use, no more complicated blending and choosing which color matches which, that's why my make-up friend, harold and I call this brand: "A Science in a Bottle!" They're totally worth you're every penny!
TO VAL: Sayang I didn't take any pixs of you, I used pa naman their newest 1-coleur eyeshadow on you. Isa ka sa pinaka magandang smokey eyes na nagawa ko! Tsk tsk!

| btw, joy sayang talaga hindi ko nakuhanan ng photo si val, i used on her the newest eyeshadows nila, darkbrownpurple, light pink and white. She was asking her tita lyn na bilhan siya kaso guess what kahit dun it amounts to 52 francs! one shade of very small eyeshadow. but. like i said, worth every penny. |
