YES! The news is VERY true, i quit my almost 7 YEARS Canadian Embassy day job! It was sooo liberating but i never thought i would be missing my daily routine and the embassy peeps this much! (the work, definitely not.) ~~i was there yesterday to give my paluwagan share(yes i still do) and as i was going up through the lift, i almost was about to cry. I miss the people from my colleagues down to the cleaners, the guards and my daily routine and of course my bi-monthly VERY FAT paycheque! But like i always tell myself, i gotta do what i gotta do. I'm taking a short course before i leave for...(toot toot! it's up for you to find out hehehe) and this is for a long-term plan.
To my ex-colleagues, thanks for the 3 despedidas during my last day. I will truly madly deeply miss all of you. The Embassy of Canada will be forever etched in my heart.
